Wang Dongming, chairman of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, inspected China IPPR International Engineering Co (IPPR), a subsidiary of China CAMC Engineering Co, affiliated to Sinomach, on Dec 3, accompanied by Zhang Xiaolun, chairman of Sinomach.

Wang listened carefully to the report on the business and development of Sinomach, and emphasized that the company should draw on the wisdom and strength of employees to boost its high-quality economic development. Wang also spoke highly of the company’s work on the improvement of staff quality, the construction of a model worker workshop, as well as the building of cultural and sports activities platforms.

Wang conducted an on-site investigation of the staff library of IPPR. He learned details about the library’s hardware support facilities and reading environment, as well as its book management and borrowing situation.

Wang then went to the model worker innovation workshop of IPPR. Zhang Ri, the national model worker and leader of the workshop, introduced to Wang the conditions of the workshop’s operation. The workshop is committed to building a professional innovation team and making unceasing efforts to elevate the core competitiveness of the company, with a focus on resolving the technical and organizational difficulties of engineering projects.

Wang stressed that the company should deepen its cultivation of ideals, strengthen its investigative and theoretical research, and strive to grasp the new characteristics and laws of trade union work in the new era, in a bid to constantly promote its innovative development.

Zhang said that the company will seriously carry out Wang’s requirements and do better in trade union work.
